Mighty long break, wasn't it?

It is has been a long long time that i posted something. So what happened in between ? Got married to my sweetheart in Delhi (2011), lost my job in Kaefer Punj Lloyd (2013), moved to Bangalore to work for Microsoft (2013), became father of my cutest "Tintumon" (2015), joined Autodesk (2017), finished by degree from Saint Josephs Evening College (2019) and here i am now, working remotely from hometown, Jamshedpur. Thanks to Corona. Life has been an absolute blast, much saner and experienced now. Still haven't mustered courage to buy a flat, I am mighty afraid of the high EMI and the tenure. These days I keep shuttling between Jamshedpur and Kolkata. Planning to go back to Bangalore in May. Looking to post more often. Au Revoir.

How to kill time in Office ?

After leaving Microsoft Enterprise Platforms Support and accepting a position in Kaefer Punj Lloyd Ltd, i have had enough time at my disposal but somehow i have not been able to make optimum use of that valuable time. When i was in CVG, i always complained that i had no time and it was true to some extent. Work was too much and exhausting, Kaefer has been kind to me so far. Work is less and could have had used it to enhance my skills. When i started off, i felt i deserved some time to chillax after having worked my a** off in CVG for more than 4 years. I am, now, in my 7th month and the chillax phase still continues. Work is occasionally taxing but most of times i am idle and i utilize the time to download a lot of torrents. I have enough study materials to keep myself busy for the next 1 year. Yet i have done nothing. Right now, i am listening to Desi Boyz, online and downloading Discovery videos.

But i promise, i am going to change. Once i am back from my marriage, on 20th December. I will go for the kill, MCITP and CCNA, in that order. I can't live doing nothing, forever. I must find a goal and reach it. After all, nothing tastes better than success. I need to move to managing a 1000 crore plus company. Signing off....
